Playing Catch Up!

It has been forever since I have posted last, and so much has been going on! Are you ready for a marathon post? Hope so!

So, last week Mike and I took a MUCH needed couples weekend (thanks mom and dad for watching the boys!) It was WONDERFUL! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it! We went to Mesquite and stayed at the Falcon Ridge Hotel. It's a nice place, but a little quirky! Do you see anything wrong with this picture?

What about this one?

Yes, the toilet was facing a full lenght mirror, and there were 2 TV's less than 5 feet from each other! I don't know about you, but when I sit down to go potty, the last thing I want to see is me staring back at myself! The 2 TV's is a good idea in theory, but practically, not so much!
We got back Sunday from our weekend away and then. . . dum dum dum. . . I got sick. Not just sick, but SICK!!!!!!! Headache, body ache, sore throat, swollen gums (????) and canker sores! Weird! Thank goodness for Teladoc and some strong antibiotics! Michael stayed home one day to help me (I actually got to take a sick day!) and then my mom (cuz everyone wants their mommy when they are sick, right?) came to help me on Thursday. We were supposed to be headed for Cali on Thurs night, but no go. Not well enough, but we did decide to leave Friday morning. Michael was happy. I was still sick. After some pain meds and antibiotics I was ready to party for Halloween! We went to Mike's brother's house so that the cousins could trick or treat together. Good times!
