Magic Moments

So, Mike and I had a conversation the other night about the magical things that happen thoughout the day. I guess you could call them "Tender Mercies," but anyway, I decided I needed to start writing these things down. Not only will it make me more aware of the good things in life, but it will also help me to remember them. I thought that it might be kind of nice to share with you all some of those magic moments. I hope you enjoy.

MM#1
This MM actually happened at about 1:30 am. Mike and I have a deal that if the baby wakes up before 2 am, Mike will take care of him. I am so blessed to have a hubby who is willing to do this. He knows that I am going non-stop throughout the day, too. Plus, I think that he secretly enjoys the quiet time with Bryan, too.

The boys actually slept in sync this afternoon. This never happens. I actually had about 2 hours to myself. You mothers out there know what a rare and precious thing alone time is. Okay, so I spent it folding laundry (a task I despise,) but at least I didn't have to fold everything twice!

We got our power bill today. This always strikes fear in our hearts, because we live in a 60 year old house, with original windows, no insulation in the back part of the house, and daylight coming in through the door frames. It is not uncommon for us to see a $140 power bill, even for this little house. But guess what? They owe us twenty bucks!!!! Thank goodness for the deposit kicking in!!!

My Joshy!!! I love him so very much. I was holding him for a minute this afternoon, and he just looked at me with all the love in his little heart, put his hands on my cheeks and gave me a kiss. Melt my heart!!!
